Default My new Sonor Force 2007 Rock drum kit

Hi guys !
I wanna show you the drum kit I just bought : this is a Sonor Force 2007 Rock drum kit, that contains :
  • 22x20" bass drum (undrilled)
  • 12x8" tom tom
  • 16x16" floor tom
  • 14x6" snare drum
On the pictures I've put the serial snare but usually I use a mapex maple deluxe snare..
The bass drum is.. woooow ! Punchy, hot and fat sound, clear tone, really cool.
The toms sounds deep and large. The sonor snare is.. a serial snare..
This is a good drum kit that's adapted a little bit more for the live performance than the studio.

What do you think about it ? :)

Nice kit! I have one too except it's in the green burst finish. such a shame Sonor discontinued the series.

That's an interesting spot for the splash cymbal, why'd you put it there? :)

Hi :)
Well it's a good answer.. I've put the splash here because I use it very often during beats on the ride.
It's a very poor splash cymbal, a crash pst3 that I've cut !

The serie is remplaced by The Essential Force serie. You can get the Rock size too and the same finish.

Ooooh! I'm digging that finish. Love the redneck subkick.

What is that ride with the purple writing?

The snare is great when tuned high. And with new heads. Hazy 200(Or 300) Over G1.

Well it's not a bad snare drum it's alright
But it never will be like a custom snare or something like that..

Snarehead, can't beat those Sonor drums! Nice finish too, & liking the subkick.
