Default Help with Youtube Covers

So when I first started drumming I used to love to watch drummers cover my favortie songs. Now that I have started doing covers on my own I would like to start filming/recording.

unfortchanatly my budgt is around $200, but Im just looking to get started

Now I dont expect the quality to be amazing but I would like to be able to hear the drums and I would like the video quality to be good enough for someone to see my face.

So can anyone recomend an inexpensive or possibly used video camera that can get the job done.

Also will I need any software computer wise?

An with my budget I think mics are out of the question but I would love to hear some recomendations for the near future.

Thanks
Max-

That's going to be really hard with only $200. Are you going to blare the stereo and record all of the audio in the camera itself?

The Kodak zi8 has a microphone input. You can get a xlr to 1/8" jack adapter and get much better audio that way than just using the camera's built in mic.

Here are some of mine done with the zi8 and my home studio recorded drums:

Well I was planning on adding the actual mp3 to the video and doing the cover itself while listen to it on my ipod
