Default best pedals for us lefties

I really hate the fact I'm a leftie, good pedals are never in my configuration, so what are some good mid range -good quality- double bass pedals?

I think you should embrace your left-ness! And what do you mean good pedals are never in your configuration? All the good ones are available in left-footed versions. You just gotta put your money down and order 'em!

But if you must go the mid-range road, the Pearl 900 is available as a lefty, and Taye actually makes a nice lefty that somebody sells on eBay for under $200. However, I think if you really want to be cool, get a second bass drum and come out of the closet ;)

Mapex just released there top of the line Falcon pedal in a lefty version. Everyone really seems to like this pedal that has one. It is very well built with a chain drive. They also have a direct drive option to put on the pedal very cheaply. The double pedal is only like 400 dollars and comes with different weights for the beaters, and different cams for the drive, and a nice bag. Have a look.

Sorry about all the question marks. That rule that you have to have so many characters, so you don't just type out a four letter word I guess. :)

I know both DW and Pearl make em because I own a set of Eliminators & DW 5000s, each. I think Yamaha and probably everyone else makes them too. You might need to order them and have a bit of a wait involved, but I'm sure they exist.

Hey ad.

I agree with Bo - embrace your left-ness!

Have you considered the Off-Set double bass pedal? Here's a review for you to check out:

Product Review - Off-Set Double Bass Pedal

This pedal is just as easy to configure for both righties and lefties. Let us know what you think!
