Default to all AXIS-Owners!

Hey guys,

for all who own an Axis Pedal, I have a maybe strange question..

I want to build an Axis Pedal on my own just to test it out and try how it works when I build a pedal on my own...
I'm not familiar with what sizes I could use for the footboard etc, and as I want to build it nearly like an Axis Pedal I wanted to ask you:

Could you send me the sizes of an Axis Pedal?
If you can help me out, please mail or message me here and I will tell you what part-sizes I would need exactly!

too cool if you could help me!! :D =)

thanks in advance
David

probably be easier to just go to a shop and measure for yourself.

If you are building your own why don't you make it to your own specs and not one already designed, that's a huge benefit of making your own, try a few different lengths and see which one suits your playing style best.

I can't go to a shop as the next shop that has it is about 6 hours driving.. (I live in germany)

I know, I actually want to do my own sizes but I need a little reference point....

Thanks anyway

Im not sure where this falls in the realm of patent/copyright stuff. But the foot board is really kind of a moot point, you can built it virtually any size, the tough part is the bearing/drive mechanism

I don't think I need to worry about patent stuff as ist's for private use.. I don't wanna sell it, right. Thanks anyways!

From what I noticed when playing an Axis A pedal, it's not that far off from any standard-sized pedal (the Speed Cobra and other long boards becoming their own rage these days). So if you have a pedal lying around, the Axis A would be just about the same. Then you could design what you want.

Seems to me ... your best bet would be to buy a "used" AXIS pedal ... take all the dimensions off it you want ... give it your own a best shot ... and then re-sell the used pedal ... you 'll wind up with the truest ... and all the "right" dimensions that way.
