Default P-86 won't fit on Acrolite

Just a quick one: I bought a new p86 to replace the p85 on my acrolite. Thing is, I can't get the provided p-86 rods to fit through the acrolite shell. Has anyone experienced this and could you share your remedy? I'm curious if im supposed to use the old p85's bolts or something. Thanks!

Try using the P-85 bolts.

That's what I ended up doing. Everything is working just fine now. Thanks!

I just wanted to add however, that I thought a new butt plate would be included with the throw-off. Either way, the millennium p86 is quite stunning.

Glad it worked, but the new butt is different hole spacing than the standard unfortunately.
Older drums, or Acros are stuck with the old butt end, unless you want to drill.

I put P-86's on all my snares. It's been years, and no problems with a one of 'em (10).
