Which drum head would last longer(durability and sound)a G2 or an Emporer for toms?

I would go with the Emperors because I've had some for almost 8 months now and they still sound pretty good!

I have hear mixed things about evans and remo and which lasts longer. I just bought new skins a few weeks ago, for my snare and toms, and got coated Emperors. No complaints yet, but i will have to see how long they last.

I had Coated Evans G2's on my previous kit, and now I have Coated Emperors.

The Evans lasted a very very long time. And so far the Emps are holding up perfectly... Some people say that Evans coating is better and that Remo's flake off inmediately.. So far, mine are in perfect condition and have almost two months now.

IDK, I think it's a matter of what brand you like best, after all, I bet there's nobody in the whole world who can tell the difference from the audience.

They're both quality heads. Cheers.
