Default Roland VDrums Rack help

I have an old VDrums club set and the rack - MDS-6SL - is literally falling to pieces (not that it was that good of a rack to begin with).

Any idea on what rack I should get to replace it with?

Do the Roland clamps work on Gibralter racks? (same diameter ?)

Thanks for the help!

All rack pipes are 1 1/2 in diameter, be it chrome, painted, stainless, etc, except that ugly pearl stuff. Oops, did I say that out loud. Yamaha also makes their own rack stuff but it is very pricey and you would have to buy all new clamps. You could also find yourself a cheap used TD10 rack out there for very cheap. Even new they weren't that much.

Gibralter is the cheapest drum rack stuff on the market if you go that direction. Good luck.

Yes, Roland and Gibraltar (and Tama) racks all use the same diameter.

The rack I use for my e-drums is combination of parts from all 3.

The problem with the Roland racks are the clamps. You may find if you just swap out some of the clamps with Gibraltar versions, you might discover you no longer want to replace the whole thing.
