Default 'Daisy Chaining' Multimixers

would i be able to daisy chain two of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Alesis-Multimi...item45f95b756e to give the same outcome as an 8 channel interface (based on the number of XLR inputs for drum mic'ing)? Thanks in advance

EDIT: by outcome what i mean is plugging 8 XLR mics in and being able to plug into a firewire port, like using a proper interface like a PreSonus FP10 or similar.

You should be able to daisy chain these since it's a firewire interface, though I think you'd be better off with a PreSonus unit with 8x XLR/pre-amp inputs for about the same price you'd pay for two of these.
