Default dw 5000 vs dw 8000

I'm getting a new pedal, I'm between the dw 5000 Accelerator or the dw 8000, I'm looking for speed and durability,

Which one should I buy?

I have the 8000... love it. Just gotta replace the spring every year due to breaking, but that is probably universal between all the pedals.

The probem I have with the 8000/9000 is that when you really get it going, the massive cam hits the footboard, and I fet like the size of the cam got in the way a bit. I owned the 8002 for a coupe of days, but I returned it. Felt too bulky compared to my Yamahas.

Out of the two, I woud go for the 5000, they are tried and true.

8000

Bigger number = More expensive, better quality

Funny, I've had my DW5000 for about five years now and I've never once had to replace the spring.
