Default Help with squeaky pedal

I just bought a Ludwig Accent Combo the other day and got it all set up. Im very happy with my purchase, except that I've noticed the kick pedal is a little squeaky. Are new kick pedals like this sometimes and I just need to break it in? Should i tighten/loosen the springs? Oil it?

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, also- the squeaky pedal gets the lube.

Knock the search button and type--- 'pedal lube' --- we talk all about it.

Either grease, or some silicone spray would probably fix that pedal right up. I prefer silicone spray. Less messy and with the little red straw you can really get in to tight places without having to disassemble the whole thing.

WD-40 would probably work too, but not for as long

clean it with wd40 and a tooth brush, then wash the wd40 off. re-lube with sewing machine oil.
