Default What Pedals Would Be Better For Me?

I currently have the Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide with Cobra Coil and they work really well but i'm wondering if I should go with Pearl Eliminator Demon Drives or Tama Speed Cobras. Which should I get an why? (I like to play very fast double bass and I use triplets a lot. Shoe size is 10 1/2)

I'm gonna sum up all the advice you're about to get.

Go to the store. Try them both out. Buy the one you like.

Pedal preference is very personal, the only way you're gonna know is to get a feel for it.

Yeah man, you're going to get a bunch of the generic responses "It's all feel," and "It's personal preference." Which is all true, but it doesn't mean people can't give their opinions.

I think that the Speed Cobra will be much better suited towards you, for a few reasons.

1: The Demon Drive pedal is a very light pedal and has a completely different feel than what you're used to.

2: The Speed Cobra has a nice long board and has a mixed feel between the Power glide (iron cobra) A DW 9000, and a Pearl Eliminator.

Basically the main difference with the two pedals is weight, if you want something feather weight and really responsive, go Pearl. If you want something with a little more umph behind the thing try out the Tama.

I recently went from a busted up, loose-as-heck old Pearl to a DW 3000 and LOVE it. Pedal absolutely glides. In fact, i liked it so much i got the DW 3000 high hat stand too. Great equipment. Sure shows up stock crud. :)

I love my speed cobra, don't particular like the demon drive.
But like others have said, try em out at the store.
