Default What do you think?

Toms: Ebony pinstripes Remo
Powersonic bass drum head Remo

Thinking about getting them. Is the bass drum good for double pedal?

You don't think there's too much built-in muffling on that Powersonic? I wouldn't go thicker than a Powerstroke 3, myself. Pinstripes on toms are fine, but still a little too thick for my tastes. I like my drums to sing on their own.

IMHO the Powersonic is a feeble joke (press studs on a drum head??.....screams of gimmick, for mine). If you really want a head with that much pre-muffling, look into the new Powerstorke Pro....based off Evans ever popular EMAD by the looks of it.

Personally, I'm with Bo. The PS3 is an excellent head. Just add a rolled towel or a felt strip for extra dampening if you feel it's necessary.

And fwiw, heads don't discriminate against double or single pedals. :-)
