Default thinking of getting 1 leg snare stand for rack

I'm thinking of picking up a gibraltar one leg snare stand for my gibraltar rack to free up some foot room..I see by reviews alot of comments of the arm being short..does anyone use one? how long is the arm? (in inches please) and any pro's cons comments ect

Default Re: thinking of getting 1 leg snare stand for rack

If you're adding to a rack setup, I'd sooner go with the Gibraltar Stealth foot add-on with the curved tube that swoops over your double pedal connections. Looks way sturdier, same essential footprint. Back when I had a rack, I did something similar with a longer rack tube as a t-leg foot and clamped the snare basket directly to that... it was wonderful.
