Default Evans Power Center Revearse Dot

Has anybody experienced denting on a PCRD ? The skin is only been on for about 2 months. I'am a heavy hitter but I never experienced this.

Denting in which area?
I could see a rev. dot denting over the top dot. I like the sound of the top dot better myself between the two versions.

I play that batter head on four of my snares and never dented a head. That head is a 10 mil head with a 5 mil center dot. What batter head did you use before the Power Center Reverse Dot? Do use heavy sticks and what style of music do you play? Do you ever dent any of your tom heads? It could be your tuning, the types of sticks and the condition of the sticks that you're using and the position of your snare drum.

I know, a lot of questions, but I'm just trying top get a feel for the situation.

I'm with you on this one Karl. They sound great on my 402.

I dented the same head only after two gigs. I def. like the EC2 Reverse Dot head way better. Its durable, open for how thick it is, and has a nice fat tone when tuned loose, and a high open crack with a bit of ring when cranked tight.

I'm a hard hitter. It's one of the best if not the best head I've ever used for a snare drum. It's durable, LOUD, open, and focused all at the same time.

Just do it.
