Default Shannon Forest

...played greatly on the Modern Drummer festival 2010 dvd! A great demonstration of feel, groove, pocket (http://www.drummerworld.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=68504), sound and time, whadda ya want more!! Anyone know him? He seems to be an active studio drummer. I'd hire him anyday :).

Speaking of the dvd - it's a beautiful one! Very surprising. Not the top of the top names (except for Benny Greb and Stanton Moore), but full of great music.

Don't know him, but I have built drums for him. He bought 2 or 3 custom segmented snares from a shop I used to work at in the mid 90's...

He has been a Nashville cat for a long time and only keeps moving up..

Great player, great pocket and a very nice guy. When Steve Lukather and David Paich were inducted into the hall of fame (songwriters or sidemen I don't remember which), and some Totot tunes were played at the ceremony, it was Shannon that they asked to play with them. he plays the hell out of those Jeff P. parts.
