Default Video with my new Studio-X heads

Got 'em all tuned and sounding pretty decent. Let me know what you think!

I watched the first 25 seconds. No one showed up so I logged off. :-)

Seriously though, nice groove. The heads sound pretty good for a Youtube recording.

Enjoy those Aquarians!

I'm curious...what type of stuff do you do with the floor tom on your left?

Do you mean in the video or in general?

Honestly for normal situations I hardly use it. It's huuuge. To be honest I had it sitting in the corner for awhile, but I decided if its part of my kit I might as well keep it with the rest of the boys. Plus, it gives me that "closed in" feeling where I feel my kit is surrounding me. I don't know why but it feels pretty cool. :-)

Oh, cool.

Yeah, I meant did you use it for tribal grooves or something on a regular basis.

The heads have more sustain than I would have thought.
Pretty nice tones, and not too much ring for the room you're in, and they don't sound dead either.

The snare has that early Bill Bruford type sound too. Wasn't that one of the things you were after?

Yeah I got pretty much exactly what I was looking for. No regrets at all. I love them :)
