Default first double bass pedal

I am about to buy my first double bass pedal.
I have my eyes set on the iron cobra power glide because i tried the single powerglide at long and mcquade and it was great.
atm i have a 50 dollar pearl pedal and i was wondering if its good to go for the iron cobra when i am a beginner at double bass?

Nothing wrong with going with a nice pedal right off the bat. It can make learning to play the double bass easier as it will feel more natural then with a cheaper pedal.

Excellent choice, the IC Power Glides are very responsive, light, durable and very versatile this will make your double bass learning process easier and smoother, definitely recommend this for entry level of double bass, as well when you get into high speeds, it will help you improve much more.

If I were you I would get a pearl Eliminater due to the fact that it is crazily adjustable comes with four pairs of different cams so you can make it feel different trust me it's an amazing pedal
