Yeah, go to a store with a tape measure and get the numbers, or measure your foot and see how long they need to be.

Sounds like a good idea, measure your foot. Instead of copying other designs/lengths. If you are studying to be a mechanical engineer then use those skills to design a whole new pedal not one already in production ;-) In the end that's what the skills you are learning are for.

Wow, that just made me wonder what I'm going to attempt to do once I start college for that.

OK guys thanks ..
@GRUNTERSDAD:thanks bro that's a nice idea to measure my own feet and make it but ive never played long board neither have seen any one besides photos and videos.....so its very hard to visualize everything.......and the music stores here in Nepal don't stock long boards

so i posted this forum hoping to get atleast average length and breadth of the pedal.....guys if you have it please measure it for me....ill be more than happy to design and improve other things.

Hey Manjish,

You're going to build one from SCRATCH? This I gotta see-- if you do so sucessfully, please put it on the market.

You must have some serious engineering skills, some righteous machining skills and equipment. I'm behind you man!

All I can offer you is dimensions from my Gibraltar double pedal, which I recently rebuilt, added secondary (outside) axle bearings to, and fine-tuned to perfection.

Let me know if I can help you out--I'd love to see your finished product. You can PM me if you like.

Cheers,
C. P.

The part labelled #1 on the image needs replacing on my kit, but i don't know what it's called so I don't really know where to look. What is it called and how much should I pay to replace it ? cheers
