I like your configuration of no toms on the bass drum. Very Bill Bruford, in a way. All you need is your hats to be right in front of you!

Interesting setup. Don't like rack toms? Or trying something new?

Be it ever so humble, there's no place like sitting at your OWN kit. :)

I was inspired sort of by Mike Mangini. And the reason why i have no rack toms is because i was tired of having a four piece and the toms are so deep they look ridiculous if they are mounted in the bass drum. I also just liked the way this set-up looks.

Welcome to the Virgin Bass Drum club! Glad to have you here.

Too bad you decided to go with Zil's, Paiste is so much better.

Nice kit! It does have a nice clean look to it and looks fun to play!

On a side note, those pics have pretty good resolution for being taken in 1970! Haha!

I decided on Zildjians because at the guitar center i got them at they sounded better than the paiste's.
About the 1970 thing: my camera is stupid because it won't remember the date so i get pictures from 1970 :P
And no i do not speak french but i just thought Monsieur sounded cool.

Great kit! rack tom are over-rated anyways! (I have 3 lol)

The 12" & 13" toms are pretty deep, how do they tune up?

Nice looking set! I like how everything is low. The drummer is the most visually exciting person to watch, yet they often hide behind a wall of drums and cymbals; you only know they're there when the crash cymbal moves. Your set is low and flat and will showcase you well. I also appreciate how you put several things on a single stand, avoiding the "forest of stands" effect.

I only play with A Customs myself and I love them. Go for it.
