Soul Vaccination Groove?

Why not taking it from the Original Drummerworld Source - played by the Master himself:

Yo, Tizzdizz, drop us a link to the video!
It's easy to have extreme chops and play busy when you are by yourself. It's another thing to play VERY busy funky grooves in a ten piece band with 40+ mics to be mixed.

Genius!!!!

I consider David Garibaldi to be one of my biggest influences. As I was learning to play drum set growing up. I was exposed to so many good drummers thanks to my grandfather and my uncle. Tower of Power became one of my favorite bands! There is so much flow and soul to his playing! I admire him so much!

Yeah, I listen to him a lot. Indeed, I am currently working exclusively out of the instructional materials he had put out (Future Sounds, The Code of Funk, Breaking the Code, and that DVD where he explains certain tunes that he played on). I am so hooked on his snare drum sound I had to get his signature snare drum. I found the tuning that he must use on his snare drum. I am in love with that snare drum. Yeah, I think the cat is pretty damn good.
