Default Double Iron Cobra Setup

I have a new IC double pedal. For the best result, should I leave the right pedal beater in the middle of the pedal like it already is (left side pedal is all the way to the left)? Or, should I put the left side beater and the right side better the same distance from the middle?

You want to try and have your beaters as close together as possible hitting the middle of the head. If you have the main pedal's beater hitting in the middle and the slave drive hitting off-center it will give you two different sounds.

Actually you should have the beater hitting a little off center; about an inch from the absolute middle of the head. Ideally either higher or lower than the center.
