Default Setting up triggers

Hello fellas

Lately I've been thinkin' about setting up triggers on my drums so I can play with headphones, got some trouble with the neighbors...

But, to be honest, I don't know where to start. Can somebody tell me or refer me to a site where I can find how to set everything up?

Thanks

Triggers aren't going to negate the sound of acoustic drums, they only make them louder when played through a PA. You should either use sound treatment/ sound proofing in your drum room, get neoprene drum silencers like SoundOffs, swictch to mesh heads which you can trigger or get a pad kit which you can trigger. Yeah you can slap triggers on to your kit and play through headphones, but your neighbors are still going to hear you banging on your kit.

Well, I'll try muffing the drums, but the thing is, I wanna get the full sound on my headphones, and a muffed sound for my neighbors.

Also, I plan to set the kit on a platform, to avoid vibrating problems.

Anyway, the purpose is, play with full sound on the headphones ithout alerting my lovely neighbors...

Thanks dude

You should do what diosdude suggested, put some mesh heads on your acoustic kit http://accessories.musiciansfriend.c...ad-?sku=445444

Then set up your triggers on these. Your neighbors won't even know you're playing your drums.
