Default Batter Heads for Resonance Heads?

Hello !

I recently purchased a used set of DW's and the 3 toms have clear DW batter heads on the bottoms of the drums. I didn't notice this until after I bought the set and the drums do sound very good, but I wanted some opinions on how much this could effect the sound quality of the toms. The batter heads on top are Evans heads and the DW Batter heads were never used as batter heads, as there are no stick markings on them. How much do you think this effects the overall sound quality? Not sure if I want to spend the cash for resonance heads if I can't tell a difference after I put them on......

This is a great website and resource and any help is appreciated !

Thanks
