Default Rob Affuso

Rob Affuso ~ is a rock solid, hard-hitter, groove drummer. Best known as the original former drummer for SKID ROW until they break-up in 1996. Actually he is the leader and drummer for a band called Soulsystem. Also, played drums for Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N' Roses) solo project - Pawnshop Guitars.

Those albums were really good: SKID ROW, Slave To The Grind, Sub-human Race, B-Sides Ourselves...

Let's give him a place here in Drummerworld.

I was never into Skid Row in the 80's.

In the 90's, after they had declined a bit in popularity, I saw them open for Van Halen, and they blew my socks off. Afusso proved he was indeed a world class rock drummer.

I've seen a lot of bands live, but they took a live show to a whole new level.

That's good to know. I saw him many years ago at a Sabian party at NAMM and no offense, but he was awful. He was trying to play jazz and latin, it was embarrassing. As far as his rock skills go, I'm sure they're good.
