Default SPAUN VINTAGE SERIES DRUM SET

Here's some pictures of the kit I purchased from ebay last week. The warmest sounding kit I have ever played. The sizes are 20" bass, 8",10",12" racking toms and 14", 16" floor toms. The snare did not come with the kit but it's a 6"x14" Ahead black on brass with Trick throw off. The rack is a new Yamaha HEX rack system. MY cymbals of choice are PAISTE 2002's 15" hats, 16",18",20" crashes, 20",24" rides, 6" splash,20" china (proto type)
Thanks for looking,
Alan

Oh my god.... BEAUTY. Really dig your setup, too, it's unusual to have three rack toms set up to the left of the kick, but it still looks comfortable to play!

Spaun makes some fantastic stuff, and that finish with the wood hoops looks great!

Beautiful. Now that's a kit I would like to play. I like everything about it....except the black heads. How could a "vintage series" kit not have white coated heads? Ah well, I'm jealous of your cymbal collection too.

Oh noooo! EC2's will kill them. Single ply Emad on the kick batter & EC1's on the tom batters is as heavy as you need to go for either mic'd or purely acoustic work. It's a combo that works very well with these very resonant shells.
