Default Changing bass beaters...

I've been reading in magazines on a couple of interesting bass beaters that I'm thinking about changing into. Currently im using iron cobras, and I do like the beaters they came with because they come with a weight collar you can attach for more wait, and you can quickly change the beaters to wood, felt or rubber. These are the beaters I've been looking at:

- Slug punch collar beater (felt)
- Puresound speedball beaters
- pearl quad DB beater

I've never played with any of these beaters, but I do tend to fall for the heavy feel versus the lighter feel. If anyone has had any experience with any of these beaters, let me know how they feel. thanks!

I can't see how any of these beaters could be an improvement over the Cobra beater. The cobra system is proven to be great for whatever style you are playing. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
