Default The same heads for two different styles

I need to reskin my kit (Ludwig classic maple). I am at present playing in two very different bands. The first is a loud, noisy, alternative punk rock band. The second is a quiet acoustic country band, in which I primarily use brushes. I will need coated heads for this reason. I need a set of skins that will work well with both styles. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Coated ambassadors.

Despite the notion that you need 2-ply for heavy music, more records are made with coated ambassadors than any other head--no matter what the artist may endorse or use live.

For several years my kid used the same kit for jazz band, church gigs, and a rather loud rock band in which he played unmiked. Coated ambs worked just fine.
