Absolutely amazing.

Nothing left to say but congratulations!

I wish the reference series had a 26 kick. I would seriously consider one.

The snare and kick drum are my two favorite Pearl reference drums.

Pearl has it's own (powerful) kick tone, and it's got a very solid feel.

...while drooling all over your Reference,

with humility envy and defference.

for a kit such as that

must sound warm, full and fat,

and the finish, it would be my preference.

very nice kit indeed.

Barry

I think Barry is quite taken with this kit. What a lovely poem.

I also approve
buying that kit was a good move.

Mad props to you for such a fine kit. However, those fine drums don't deserve those beat up heads.

I'll be honest, I don't like the sparkle. But the cymbals, they're a different story.

I dig the finish.

Is the kit really heavy? I looked into the Reference series once upon a time, but the consensus was that the extra plies just make it a bit too annoying to cart around (combined with back problems, this probably wouldn't be the best option for me).

That sparkle looks like what some companies call glass finish. I love it. Good find.
