Default Bass drum batter suggestions?

I just got some Remo Vintage Emperor batters for my toms... They really sound great. I get a nice deeper tone from them.

Now my bass drum can use some more of that deeper warmth to match the toms. I am still using the original batter on my bass drum. I added a rolled up towel in front of the batter and have it tuned great, I love the punch of it.

I am looking for suggestions on bass drum heads that may add create a deeper tone without losing the punch and creating extra resonance.

Thanks

I can only suggest remo since that's what I use. So, for a deeper tone without losing punch you'll need a Remo powerstroke 3.
Other brands will have similar versions.

I second the PS3. Just played a show last night with a PS3 batter, stock Yamaha reso, with an just an Evans EQ pad in the shell. Great depth and punch and clearly audible thru a modest PA system.
