Default Direct drive pedal

Hi all just wanted to ask has anyone come across a way to convert a chain drive pedal to a direct drive. I want to try direct drive for a decent amount of time with out spending loads. Any ideas welcome.

Can't say I've ever seen a conversion in all my years of playing. The designs are totally different and I"m sure if they did make one it would cost almost as much as a new pedal would. Check e-bay for used pedals. If you want to try one relatively inexpensively look into the Speed King pedals. Direct drive and not priced like Axis or Trick. Also the Yamaha flying dragon direct drive.
