Default DW 7500 Hi-Hat Stand

Does anybody here own or use this stand? What do you think? I'm considering buying it for gigging. Also, would entertain suggestions for other lightweight hi-hat stands with smooth action.

The 7500 is a very nice stand.

I have the 2 leg lighter tubed 5000 series stand (because I need the 2 legs), but I actually like the action and feel of the 7500 better.
I also have some 7000 stands (plain straight & straight/boom), and they are very nice as well. The legs are very sturdy, and the casting for the part that secures the legs is really nice too.

I think the 7500 would serve you well. It's more than sturdy, it's light to carry, the quality is great, and it feel is really good.

Yamaha always seems to make great hi-hat stands; I've never played one I didn't like. I'm using the HS 700 3-leg single-braced stand right now, and it's awesome.
