Default NEW Yamaha Musashi Oak Snare!

6x12 Yamaha Musashi Oak Snare Drum
-Remo Emporer Batter

-Stock Snares
Just bought this snare off of eBay.
Owner's please give me advice for using this snare.

Don't be afraid to use a wide range of tunings - it suits both high and low tunings.

And if possible, change the throw-off. I've had this snare for a year and a half now and the throw off doesn't function properly. It works, but it doesn't engage without a bit of work. The Musashi is an excellent snare - really excellent. I love mine. I use single-ply heads exclusively on this snare.

ahh the ebay object. To bad the the groove wedge isnt there (its black and not sold seperatly in that colour) try to get one. For the rimclicks there so nice.

great sounding snare.

I had one of those snares previously and found that if you put a small amount of real light grease on the moving parts of the throw-off it works fine. You will love it.
