hehehe, looking cool! I still think that kick is a snare on it's side though. A so called side-snare :-P.

Let's hear those babies!

That looks really great! I am not a fan of bass drums with relatively small depth, I prefer the look of deep cannons... but I bet it sounds like a bomb going off.

I do too, to be honest..lol I had the set with a pair of 22X30" deep bass drums. But it does have a lot of boom for the buck yes, lol.

I love Bohnam/One up-two down sets. I wish i could play on them but I just can't move around it very well, getting to the second floor tom is especially hard. Great looking kit man! I love the old school sparkle look.

I like the black hardware with the gold. It makes the gold stand out more, unlike traditional chrome which i think makes the gold look less spectacular since theres more shinny stuff on the drums

Nice work; I admire those who DIY.

What was the most challenging part of your project?

The hardest part of doing these, and the gold ones. was applying the glitter and making sure everything was covered, and getting the lacquer on without stripping the glitter off.

She sounded great in the studio. I used the set today recording my 6 year old daughters song she wrote and sang for her sister. I will be posting it on Myspace and youtube on Monday.Links to follow. Actually rocks and sounds really good.
