That's because the bass drum "is supposed to" be punchy and toms "are supposed to" sing (at least a bit) -- and snare wires "aren't supposed to" buzz when you play your toms and kick drum. It's apples and oranges all over.

if you change your set-up as someone already suggested, you may play even better. the kicks too far away for comfort.

and yeah, thank god the moongel overkill is now killed and over with ;)

I would love to here a recording of these drums! Your cymbal choices are top notch! Could you take a picture encompassing the whole kit? Very nice!

Thank you for your comments guys. I will post sound test of each cymbal and my snares.

You will enjoy it. I use to practice playing with Brian Blade and Bill Stewart music.

Nice kit. I guess we can let you off with one moongel but i think you'd probably be better off with just pinstripes and no moongels if you just want that bit of muffling to the sound. Anyway let's hear the recordings i'm sure they'll sound good.

thats a nice kit, with some nice cymbals

give the guy a break with the moongel, its his drum kit, he can do what he wants with em, its not like he's complaining about how his kit sounds

Hello all.

I will sell my kit because I will move out of the country.

How much could I sell it? Only the Two toms, floortom and bassdrum.

And the toms stand.

Let my know your opinion please?

Thanks!

Victor

Wow five rides, talk about sound options! That's a cymbal collection to die for. Good luck with selling it. I live in Australia so I'm no help with prices sorry.

Beautiful kit, but don't your toms sound dead with all those moongels? I mean, 1 or two, maybe, but jeez man give the drums some freedom!

I love the natural finish, not too flashy yet very pleasing to the eyes.
Good luck selling.
