Fransisco Mela
The Clave and Cascara is inbuilt and not overt. According to him his Cubaness is enough to make his jazz unique. He rides 2 rides simultaneously, and he's shaking the tree big time. I went to see him like 2 months ago to a jazz fest near my town. Awesome player and very nice guy too. He did a clinic and then played with a pianist named Gabriel Hernandez and Jason Palmer. Really nice stuff.
