Cool setup, is the giant step pedal really worth the price? I've never played one myself.

Very nice setup....Sonors are great drums!

You're 15 and have been playing since you were 5?? Holy crap. Maybe that explains why you have such a nice kit at age 15. Far better than I had at age 25!

Yes,

Sonors are great. The drums I love most on my kit are the 8" Tom and the Mainsnaredrum. It has a very hard but warm sound. GREAT

I'm going to take new photos in the next weeks.

-1- Yes, I'm going to add:
Left side:
one jamblock (maybe with the sonor giant step twin effect pedal)
Right side: one cowbell and a jamblock
-2- oh, everything.. from jazz to heavy metal. i'm in a bigband, a progressive rock band like porcupine tree and a ska-band.

Hey Guys,

as I promised, here are photos of my giant Step:

On the Second photo you can see my home-made docking station for the on picture three used home-made practise pad :) :D
All in All my practise "Station" works well but it's a bit to loud so I'm going to put carpet under it..

The Giant Step is a wonderful pedal. Better as I can remember. Very sensitive, exact and nothing is moving.

More pictures from my first gig with it:
Today evening or tomorrow

Very beautiful set and well-cared for. I especially like how you have used your stands efficiently (putting as much as you can on each stand to avoid a "stand forest") and you made your own hardware items to customize your set. I've customized a couple of things on my set as well. Very cool!

Extremly impressive set up for a 15 year old, does your dad play drums by any chance?

Hows the 18" Dark K? I have two Dark 16"s, I find they are fairly versatile, I've used them for a number of different things.

No my dad doesn't play the drums :P

The 18" Dark Crash is as versatile as the 16" crash!! Beatiful!!
I like the K-Custom crashes because they fit for every(!!!) style of music.
