Default Axis upgrade

I have some double bass axis longboards and I'm tired of messing with the L wrench bolts all the time. I wanna upgrade to some trick pedals. Should I? How much different do they feel?

"All the time"?

I have the longboards have had to tighten the heel-side screws twice in two years.

If there is something wrong with the pedal, get it fixed.

Or...just get the Trick. Plenty of people use it without problem. That is one exspensive fix to a couple hex-bolts though.

You should try the pedal before you buy, some guys like the action of your axis more than the trick and they're in the same ballpark, pricewise so it's a "switch" instead of an "upgrade". That being said, i own or have owned a ludwig speed king, yamaha flying dragon, 1st gen cobra, DW 7002, DW 9002 and now the Trick pro-1v2 detonator bigfoot and the Trick is my all-time favorite.

It always comes down to what feel you want. No one can really tell you.

My plug for Trick has to do with performance based outside of personal perception. In other words, I can't tell you what feels better for you, only about the pedals performance in and of themselves.

Tricks are silent, fast, solid, sturdy. They are the Rolls Royce of pedals. But if you are looking for a particular feeling, only playing them will tell you if they are right for you.

I love em!!
