Default Aquarian Power-Sleeve sticks?

Has anyone tried aquarian's power-sleeve sticks? Are they any good? What kind of music would you recommend them for?

Like most sticks, they come in a variety of sizes, so there is no specific music they are good or not good for.

That said, they are not made very well. Which is a shame, because I like the concept, but they use a cheaper grade of wood than most pro sticks are made of. I'm not sure why they decided to go that route. If they made them with the same higher grade of hickory that Vic Firth, Zildjian, et all use, they'd be on to something.

I've used the Power-Sleeve sticks a few times. They are included with the new Aquarian Tru-Bounce practice pad. (The best pad I have ever used, btw. The most realistic bounce of any practice pad.) But, back to the sticks. They are a pair of 5Bs with a hard nylon 'sleeve' the same diameter of the rest of the stick to protect it from rimshots. The tip is covered in this nylon as well, so yeah, I could see how they would be practically indestructible. I have only used them a few times though. They are pretty loud (for my style of playing). The largest stick I usually play with is basically a 5A. But I do use them occasionally for a warm-up just for something different, but not very often. So if you're looking for a long-lasting stick more suited for heavy playing, grab yourself a pair of the Power-Sleeves. Just don't take them to the acoustic/jazz gigs...
