so i took the genera dry off my snare and put another g1 on it. much better... lots of rich creamy ringing overtone. mmm mmm mmm...

and heres a new overhead pic with my kit miked up and in the center of the room.

that's a really nice kit. Really digging the cymbals.

Just wondering how you find it when you have to use other peoples kit and have to swap it around. I started off playing a left handed kit but then playing open handed on a righty, took a bit of getting used to but it's so much easier using other peoples kit.

i dont really play other peoples kits. i dont usually do random sit ins.

i recently bought and restored a 70s stop-sign badge grestch 14x5 c.o.b. 4160 snare
i havent yet taken a good overhead shot but i will soon.

masterwork jazz master 22" ride and 14" hihats (thank you gruntersdad and tenpastten)

Glad to see them go to a good home. I think you can do far more with them than I. Looks great, and I know they sound the tits.

tits. absolute tits. they sound great. i have a gig thursday night so theyll get a chance to really shine. im really surprised how well the ride blends with my crashes... and the hats are trash and washy open, but really clean up tight. love em. absolutely love them. im currently in tuscaloosa, but you gotta let me know if you head to mobile or bham.
