Default Simple Luddies

What little time not spent at work or with the girl is spent behind these babies.

My Grohl/Goldsmith inspired setup. This is what I usually play everyday.

14"x6.5" (sometimes a 13"x3")
13"x11"
16"x16"
22"x16"
15" hats
18" and 19" crashes
22" ride
Ludwig/Remo/Yamaha hardware
Remo CS dot over clear Evans G1 (toms)
Remo CS dot over random crap resos (kick)
Evans Power Center over Orchestral reso (snare)

Setup I'm using to teach my brother with. It's what he's comfortable with. He's advancing pretty well. Differing from my setup by using the 12"x10" tom instead of the 13"x11" and the 18" crash without it's companion, the 19".

Pretty good. I think if you want a proper foo's setup though it really has to be 2 down :)

I'm talking Grohl from Nirvana sir. He's my biggest influence besides Bonham. Goldsmith from his time with Sunny Day Real Estate and the Foo's used this setup, though. Hawkins is a major influence towards my playing, but setup wise, not so much. Thanks for the reply though man.
