Default My cooking gear

Well, today I was cooking and needed a lid. Not big enough lids in the house though, so I had to get something else. Now it turns out that my 20" Pearl ride makes a great lid :-). Sounds like crap but does very well in the kitchen. Finally a good use for that thing.

The food was delicious by the way ;-).

Yeah. Unfortunately I wouldn't do the same with my Paiste 20" Dark Dry Ride... but a good idea. Even has a vent hole to prevent boiling over.

Turn it upside down and all of the condensation will run to the middle and not toward the edge and spill on the oven.

Guess what I'm going to do???

I'm going to use pans and pan lids for a drama project at school :p
I tought it would be fun if I post this.
I will post pics when my whole set (acoustic, electric and jerrycans, pans etc.) is finished.

LOL hey maybe this is what Paiste really meant when they labeled their Giant Beat cymbals as "multi-purpose" : )

Invert a china cymbal and it makes a good wok or serving dish.

Creative use (although I still have yet to see a cymbal being used as a frisbee), but what were you making? That meal looks GOOD! It kind of looks like Indian food, which I love...
