Default I NEED HELP AMPLIFYING MY DRUMS!!

Hey
i only have like £200 and i want to get every thing i need with that
7 mics ( 3 toms, a snare, bass drum and 2 overheads)
7 leads for those mics
4 clips for the mics
and a mixer to put em through
The rest i dont realy need yet

Please help
i have found some deals already, and asked about them on this many a time, but no one is offering any advice.
Ones i have found are, Gatt mic's and Red audio 5 mic's
Which are better?, and do you know of any decent mic's, with good deals?

Your not getting much help likely because your budget is not reasonable. I could not possibly recommend anything to help you here. You will blow that on just mic stands and cables…

The cheapest drum mic’s I have ever listened to that sounded acceptable are these:

Go mow some more lawns or something. That budget is not realistic for what you want AT ALL.

Think of crappy mic's like crappy cymbals. You cannot make them sound good, and you will be in for a painfully expensive upgrade. There is a minimum price of admission to recording that can be considered "good" and it's well beyond what you have to spend.

That amount of money didn't totally cover my mixer alone. I don't know about prices where you are, but if I spent $1000 USD, expect to spend at least the equivalent.

i played a set of CAD mics at a gig once..

they werent great, but, they did the job nicely..

for cheap, i would recommend CAD or Samson..
for cheap that is.

Audix or Shure is the way to go though..

but like others said, your budget it unrealistic.

your looking at over 700...and thats cheap mics with a decent mixer.

why do you need to mic ALL of your drums..why not just a couple over heads and kick?

Alex

I second that. My setup is from a pro engineer who has cut many cd's. He got excellent results with 4 mics. (even on a big kit) That is:

2 overheads
1 decent snare mic like shure sm 57
1 kick mic.

And I plan on micing a 13 pc kit.
