Not drum related, but I got a new Yamaha RBX374 Electric Bass Guitar, with a natural wood finish. Really nice and really light, it's got a decent tone, and it's cheap! Lol, it looks beautiful, I'll post pics when I get the chance.

i also got a Sabian HHX Stage Ride, and I'll be getting some new overheads for my drum kit soon :)

Nice Pro-M's Jimmy! I got a set for Christmas last year and they are beautiful drums. I like that finish you have on yours though!

They actually don't sell that finish anymore.
We got the set off a guy who bought it 6 months ago when they still sold it.
It's even more beautiful in person, and the sound of the drums....wow
Definitely the best value for the money.
I'll probably be buying Mapex for the rest of my life.
Post a pic of yours.

Post a pic of yours.
I can imagine that actually - Mapex finishes always look the best in person. No pictures do them justice! My old kit was a Mapex VX series kit and the finish on that (Plasma Sapphire finish) was gorgeous - especially for what is regarded as a low-end kit, and as you say - total value for money :) Ditto on the Mapex for life comment as well. My Pro-M's are my second Mapex kit and I doubt they'll be my last - I'm looking at getting some Saturns this year once my wallet has recovered from the TD9-KV I bought last week!

And finally pictures of my pro-m including the drum rack that I got for christmas from my parents! Cheers :-)

...all I got was a lump of coal.

and a $25.00 gift certificate from Long&McQuade.

that should turn into four pairs of sticks at least.

I didn't get anything picture worthy, but here it goes:

Vic Firth SIH1 musician's headphones
Zildjian 5A Anti-Vibe sticks
Modern Drummer subscription
$75 Guitar Center gift card

And that's pretty much all.

By the way Jimmy-something, that drum set is absolute amazing.
