Default Gibraltar R-Class Conversion kit

Hey guys.

I plan on purchasing one of these soon and I noticed that there is a 12.7 mm option and a 10.5 mm option. I plan on converting a 16" floor tom to the bass drum if this helps. Which one shouls I buy?

Thanks.

It depend on the kit you own and which diameter are your floor tom legs. I, myself , ordered the 10.5 mm version since I own an beginner kit and my hardware is smaller than a StarClassic for example.

Anyway, you could play safe by ordering the 10.5 mm version.

I've looked at the hardware specs but there's no details about the floors tom legs or the tom mount rod size.

Like I said earlier, play safe and order the smallest one, it will fit for sure. For me even with the smallest format, the rod diameter for mounting the tom was too big so I had to replace the L rod with a smaller one I already had in hand.
