I'll second the "wow" that is a gorgeous kit...DDrum is really stepping it up to be a major contender...glad to see it.

Hope you enjoy this kit for a long, long time.

Congrats again!

Even better than the other pics! That glossy lacquer finish really looks amazing! DDRUM has a total winner with this line.

Now that is my kind of finish. I Love it! I see ddrums are coming up as a drum company. Are they built as good as they say?

Hey,

Let me just start by saying I am 47 years old and have been playing for 38 years. Have owned 25 or so sets from the entry level to top of the line Gretsch, Tama, and DW. This was my second Ddrum purchase and I must say the best sounding kit I have ever owned. The one and only complaint I have is the bass drum claws. So much I called Ddrum to let them know. They advised me that they where changing the clawss for next years model. Kinda like owning a high end convertible and having walmart plastic hub caps on it!
I am replacing the claws with some Gretsch-like diecast claws with rubber inserts,....oh yeah baby.

thanks

That`s incredibly beautiful! I had no idea that Ddrum makes that exclusive looking sets!
How`s the shell quality, quality of the bearing edges and how does it resonate?

Great set-up, congrats!!

Karl

A kit like that deserves cast claws! They don't cost that much more than those claws would. My favorite claws are used by only two companies on earth: Sonor (SQ2) and Trick. They use a large knurled knob, so you can tune the kick by hand, no drum key needed.
