Default percussion setup

here is the hand percussion i used for the Christmas concert on the 14th.

14" K hi hats
18" Hammerax crash
7" and 9" bongo's
mini djembe
chimes
tamberine
4X14 copper snare (Pearl)

Cool stuff. Were you playing for the church service or was it a music concert? Either way I'm sure you got some looks for that hammerax...

Was a music concert, mostly Christmas stuff. We did a few originals, both mine and parkers (Our guitarist) toned way down for the crowd eldery people, with the exception of our wives.

The Hammerax got a few nods but the copper snare was the big hit. Here is a pic of my daughter behind the set sitting on our lead guitarist's wife's lap.

Trying to convince my parents to let me buy a smaller size djembe like that one for christmas... I think I've almost convinced them. I am mesmerized by the bass tone that those things produce.

Yes, is very nice sounding. I Picked mine up on E-bay for $24.00 I saw another there 2 days ago.
