Default great studio bands

I was thinking of some of the great studio bands, session guys that came out of the studio and formed a band: Booker T and the M.G.s, The Band, The Eagles, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Toto, Stuff. What can you add to the list?

That's because Steely Dan was not really a band that came out of the studios but one that went back in. :) But you're right. I should have included them. The Band was not really made of studio guys either.
