Default Evans Eq2 Vs. Emad

Im looking for something focused for my bass drum without using a pillow or muffler, i have a maple pdp bass drum, i already did many post on bass drum heads but i was wondering if the evans eq2 clear is any good and if anyone ever tried it. I am looking at either the eq2, emad, or emad 2, people say the emad 2 is kinda dead, but i dont want that much resonance and i dont want to use a muffler. I have a dw stock head with a pillow and flam slam and it sounds pretty loud and good but it dosent have that much tone, it sounds sorta like a box. So which one would you reccomend?

I have the clear EMAD single ply on my 24 inch PDP with the PDP reso head and it sounds amazing. I have it tuned very loose and low with the big muffle ring and it sounds like Lars from Metallica. I really like it a lot. I want to try the EMAD 2 but like you heard from other people, sounds like a flappy cardboard box.
