Default U.K Drum Assembly Websites

Hi all. Okay so my University semester is nearly over for the year until September (I know we get really short semesters!!) so in summer I plan on doing a few things, drum wise.

Therefore I am interested in maybe assembling a drum myself (I wont be ignorant and say build a drum because it clearly diminishes all you hard working drum manufactures that we have on the forum i.e. Unix).

So I've had a look around on-line very briefly and I couldn't really find any U.K based websites that I could buy shells, hoops, lugs etc. I did find a few that I could MAYBE get some strainers and such from but nothing amazing, so that's where you guys come in?

Who knows of any reputable or at least half decent U.K based drum parts websites or at least stores?

Thanks in advance guys, hope you can be of some help :)

They're not cheap though. 100 quid just for some decent die-cast hoops!

Perhaps you could order the stuff from the U.S?

If they won't deliver internationally, perhaps a kindly American on here could receive them and post them on to you?

I was going to say where on earth on the website does it say that the die-casts are 100 but if you buy two of the most expensive ones they've got then it does work out to around 100-ish.

I can get hoops and stuff easily really but its a website or store in the U.K that sells good quality shells that I want really

Sorry for the bump guys but i've noticed recently there seems to be some talk about assembling your own drums and thought someone else may have some insight into this.

Many thanks

Adam
