Default Good Books on Jazz?

Do you recommend any books on jazz, either fiction or history? Anyone read the Studs Terkel book "Giants of Jazz?"

P.S. Does anyone know a place where I can find funny t-shirts, hoodies, and bags??

I don't know if it's still in print or not, but "The Big Beat" by Max Weinberg is a great book about jazz drummers.

There is one place. But if I told you where it is I'd have to kill you.

I should have killed you long ago after I told you where that place is.

Killer. Appears to be out of print but easily obtained.

Any others? I'm not necessarily looking for drum-specific books.

Billy, he's right, you know. Eat it all. And don't forget to drink a big glass of jolly old Mr. Orange Juice!
By the way, what the hell is a "funny hoodie?"
